The human Google Maps. Except somehow… better.

For us, that's always been Mr. Swapan Paramanick.

No matter where anyone wanted to go — a new college, a government office, a random café, an interview across the city, some place we'd never even heard of — the answer was always the same.

"Call Swapan Uncle."

And somehow… he always knew.

Not just the route. The best route. Which train coach to stand near. Which platform saves you a five-minute walk. Which station exit nobody tells you about. Which bus looks faster but actually isn't.

Where you'll get chai that doesn't taste like regret. Where the samosas are actually worth stopping for.

The shortcuts. The tiny hacks. The things Google Maps doesn't tell you because, well… it isn't Swapan Uncle.

At some point we stopped asking ourselves, "How does he know all this?" and started asking, "What if everyone had someone like this?"

Someone who didn't just give directions. Someone who made an unfamiliar place feel familiar before you even got there.

That question became Between Stops.

We're not trying to replace maps. Maps already know where places are. We're trying to answer everything maps don't.

Should I take the train or the bus? How much should I actually carry? Where should I grab breakfast nearby? Is this route worth taking during rush hour? What's the local trick?

Basically… the stuff you'd ask your smartest friend.

Every journey has a moment between leaving and arriving. That's usually where the confusion starts. We'd rather it didn't.

So we built Between Stops. To make every first journey feel like your second.

And none of this would've existed without one person who unknowingly became the blueprint for this idea.
